I miss her. When she’s here and when she’s not. It’s terrible. It’s messing up my days. It’s screwing with my work. My brain is all over the place. I have trouble focusing. What am I doing writing this now anyway? Surely I have better things to do right now. That’s the trouble with the brain. You can’t switch it off.

I won’t even mention my heart. The poor thing suffers when things are like this. Once upon a time it used to live its life in happy ignorance. It was minding its own business and then out of nowhere it was kidnapped and held hostage. It never even had a chance. It’s been her captive ever since. I hope she doesn’t release it again…

I miss her. Life would be much easier if I didn’t. But then, it would also be boring and mundane, uneventful and far less exciting. And who wants a life like that?!
